It was an extremely hot and exciting day. First, a great part of our participants (some of them were still on their way) met at the Youth Centre during the official opening of the Festival. There was joy because many young artists have a chance to meet once again in our city. Those who came to Łódź for the first time, surrounded by positive energy, were immediately drawn into it.
From 1 o’ clock, all participants “flooded” Port Łódź with folk energy. The shopping Centre was full of colours and folk music. Groups and soloists from 10 countries performed on the patio on the grand stage. This show ended with a performance prepared by Turan from Belarus and a lively dance show of Ge Folk group from Georgia.
